How to sign a whitehouse.gov petition

How to sign a whitehouse.gov petition.

Find a petition you want to sign. 

You will see two buttons click the one that says create account

You will see a screen pop up fill in your details. Don't forget to type in the captcha at the bottom and click register.It will look like the picture below.

An email will be sent to the one you signed up with... 


The email will resemble this

click on the link below or cut and paste it into your web browser to confirm  
this is a working email address:

Right click on the link that will be here in your email click copy
GO TO THE ADDRESS BAR AND RIGHT CLICK AND HIT PASTE 
OR CLICK OPEN IN NEW TAB

IMPORTANT: If you created your account in the process of signing a  
petition on We the People, you still need to click on the "Sign this  
Petition" button on the petition's webpage.
